CyberSwarm raises $50 Million Series A to scale neuromorphic computing hardware
According to CyberSwarm, the funding will help expand research and development efforts and support the company’s transition toward commercial deployment. The company said the investment will also fund engineering expansion, industry partnerships, and deployments across automotive, aerospace, defense, healthcare, and robotics.
CyberSwarm develops neuromorphic hardware designed to enable adaptive intelligence and real-time learning directly in hardware systems. The company says its memristor-based architecture aims to address limitations in traditional computing systems, where memory and processing remain separated.
CyberSwarm stated that the new capital will accelerate development of its neuromorphic compute layer for autonomous systems. The company describes this architecture as a new computational layer positioned between traditional digital systems and quantum computing.
“This Series A marks the beginning of the next phase for CyberSwarm and for neuromorphic computing itself. Neuromorphic computing is not meant to replace digital systems. It represents a new computational layer between traditional computing and quantum — designed for problems that neither solves efficiently. We believe the future of AI will require entirely new architectures, and CyberSwarm is building toward that future,” said Mihai Raneti, Founder and CEO of CyberSwarm.
Falanga Invest Perton said the investment reflects growing interest in advanced computing technologies focused on artificial intelligence and adaptive systems.
“We invested in CyberSwarm because we see a company with deep technical expertise, original intellectual property, and a long-term vision. We believe neuromorphic computing will become one of the defining technological directions of the next decade, fundamentally reshaping artificial intelligence and advanced computing,” said Ian Imrisek, CEO of Falanga Invest Perton.
CyberSwarm has been backed by Draper Associates since 2018Founded in 2017 by Mihai Raneti, CyberSwarm develops neuromorphic computing hardware focused on adaptive intelligence and energy-efficient artificial intelligence systems. The company said it collaborates with Romanian research institutions and has been backed by Draper Associates since 2018.
