Open Banking Hackathon: deadline for applications extended. Win up to 10.000€  in cash and partner benefits

Over 40 fintechs from Central, Eastern, and Western Europe have expressed an interest in participating in the Open Banking Hackathon - CEE Edition 2022. Due to the great interest in the competition, the deadline for applications has been extended.

Until now, teams from all over Europe and even other continents have submitted their applications. It is great to see so many people interested in revolutionising the banking industry. Open Banking Hackathon has once again established itself as the Eurovision of open banking”, says Alexandra Pollack, Open Banking Hackathon Organiser.

At its 4th CEE edition, the 5 days event will challenge team to find solution for open banking addressed to individuals, businesses, and IoT, but also, teams can definitely add other innovative fintech ideas to build value creation applications on top of the battle tested Open Banking data aggregation platform provided by Finqware.

Having the fact that the event is set to be a transformational journey for the participants, all selected teams will experience a five-day networking event, with more than 20 mentors and business experts in depth discussions and 1to1 feedback sessions representing best fintech associations, innovation communities and startup accelerators.

Following the networking benefits, the winners will get a chance at PoC partnerships, special prizes and up to 10 000 € in cash and partner benefits.

Having technology partner Google Cloud and National Bank of Romania as institutional partners, the event is also supported by important regional financial players like Banca Comerciala Romana, OTP Bank, Capex.com and the international law firm CMS have partnered in the event, eager to see Open Banking gain traction in the financial sector.
