Romanian edtech Ascendia integrates OpenAI with the help of Microsoft for Startups
OpenAI technologies, that also power ChatGPT, implemented in LIVRESQ will help instructional designers and teachers to develop e-learning courses and interactive lessons much easier and faster, eliminating a massive amount of repetitive work and accelerating the development process. The new AI empowered features are expected to be launched in Q2 2023.
As part of the program benefits, Ascendia will receive free access to the OpenAI team to develop the integrations for LIVRESQ.
"It is only natural that this new technology should also be used to create educational content, in all its forms and for all age groups. Our objective is to offer, through LIVRESQ, relevant tools, adapted to current times, for the national and international e-learning market." said Alex Mălureanu, Co-Founder & CMO of Ascendia S.A.
The Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub is a program dedicated to innovative start-ups that provides access to Microsoft technologies and expertise, as well as a global network of partners and investors.
LIVRESQ, the company's product, is currently the most popular e-learning authoring tool used to build online courses and interactive lessons in Romania, with over 33,000 creators from 6380+ institutions and companies. LIVRESQ is also involved in the development of educational content for the national EduLib project, one of the most important initiatives to revolutionize the Romanian educational system, a project of over 40 million EUR that is under development.
These new AI integrations to be launched for LIVRESQ are an important step in strengthening Ascendia's position as a leader in the e-learning market.
