FieldOS was founded in 2021 by Cristian Dragomir and Ion Gavrilescu and serves as a digital one-stop shop for managing field employees and their resources, ensuring proactive and predictive asset maintenance operations. The SaaS platform provides advanced solutions for optimizing company operations, positioning itself for rapid growth both in Romania and internationally.

"We are delighted to announce the first investment made by BCR Seed Starter, a tangible step in creating opportunities, encouraging innovation, and supporting the tech startup ecosystem. Our investment is not only in the FieldOS business but also in the dreams of its founders, Ion Gavrilescu and Cristi Dragomir. We are confident that, together, we can scale successfully. Our goal is to highlight the value of 'Made in Romania' innovation on the international stage, showing how a locally designed and developed tech solution can create global impact," said Carmen Dibuș, CEO BCR Seed Starter.

The funds secured by FieldOS will be used for product development, accelerating growth in the local market, and expanding its operations in North America. The company expects to close 2024 with annual revenues of approximately EUR 400,000—more than double the previous year—and over 20 clients, including multinational companies from various sectors such as retail, facility and property management, education, security services, and HoReCa.

"The investment in FieldOS marks the first financing round fully led and covered by BCR Seed Starter. We support a team of founders who have demonstrated a strong vision and the ability to deliver scalable solutions for digitalizing field activity management. Ion Gavrilescu and Cristi Dragomir impressed us immediately with their resilience, pragmatism, and the perfect blend of technical and commercial skills. Additionally, the positive client feedback and the immense digitalization potential in this sector strengthened our confidence in their success.

This funding is directed toward accelerating growth in the Romanian market and expanding to initial international clients, focusing on North America. It also prepares the company for a larger funding round anticipated in 2026. For BCR Seed Starter, this is just the beginning of a investment series we plan to announce as part of our commitment to supporting Romania’s tech ecosystem and helping local startups grow on the global stage," said Adrian Roșoagă, Chief Investment Officer BCR Seed Starter.

"We have always envisioned creating a product that can be easily scaled globally. This year, we focused our efforts on finalizing and launching the latest version of the FieldOS platform, which happened this fall. It has proven to be very intuitive and easy for clients to adopt, while also being complex and modular enough to cover all the functionalities they require.

For 2025, we are prepared to actively target the North American market—a dynamic market with significant potential in the 'field services' area. We already have partnerships with distributors and resellers and have held numerous meetings and demos. What we admire about this market is their appetite for trying new solutions and their transactional approach to business.

Additionally, we will continue to grow in Romania, where we have started to gain strong traction and receive numerous recommendations. We have a solid pipeline at the moment and aim to at least double our revenues next year, with a significant part coming from our international clients.

We are thrilled with the support provided by BCR Seed Starter at this inflection point and believe that many of the bank's clients can benefit from our services in improving their operational efficiency," said Ion Gavrilescu, co-founder FieldOS.

"FieldOS showcases the potential of technology to transform operational processes and improve organizational efficiency. Through this investment, we reaffirm BCR's commitment to supporting Romania’s tech startup ecosystem, helping them grow both locally and internationally. Beyond financial backing, BCR Seed Starter will provide strategic support by granting access to a wide base of potential clients and investors, as well as integrating FieldOS solutions into George Store, making them easily accessible to entrepreneurs," said Thomas Kolarik, Vice President of IT & Operations BCR and Chairman of the Board BCR Seed Starter.

Launched in January 2024, BCR Seed Starter invests up to EUR 600,000 per ticket in technology startups seeking seed-stage funding. The company aims to support startups that optimize banking processes, expand BCR’s service portfolio, or integrate ESG standards, contributing to a more sustainable financial ecosystem.
