150,000 euro investment in Meetgeek.ai led by Early Game Ventures

Early Game Ventures (earlygame.vc) announces the completion of a 150,000-euro investment round in Meetgeek.ai (meetgeek.ai), a technology startup that builds an AI assistant for Google Meet, Teams, and Zoom conversations.

The Meetgeek robot is available 24 hours a day, attends meetings, and then sends the transcript and minutes of discussions to other participants, highlighting various elements such as the conclusions reached, the concerns expressed, the tasks undertaken, and many other insights.

The service is available on the company's website, which also offers a free monthly plan.

The DLA Piper team, consisting of Cristina Bucur and Ciprian Frandeș, provided legal assistance for the transaction, including the set of documents required for the entire process.

The need for such a service became even more pressing in the COVID-19 pandemic when the volume of business conversations increased enormously on all online platforms.

Meetgeek promises to increase the efficiency of discussions in the virtual environment and acts as a very precise secretary who sends valuable information to all participants by email. In addition, managers have access to the analysis section, where they can access various information, data, and insights on how the team meetings and discussions take place and practical advice on how to improve them.

Among the areas that have the most to gain using the Meetgeek service are the legal aid, technology, consulting, or financial fields. A very important niche is the board of directors' meetings, where minutes of meetings are needed, created with maximum objectivity.

Dan Huru, co-founder and CEO of Meetgeek, holds a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence and has more than ten years of experience in software engineering. "While more and more activities are automated within companies, meeting management is lagging behind, and the costs associated with inefficient meetings are considerable. Our vision is to give teams the strength to own and implement a meeting culture based on best practices. Meetings are often seen as a necessary evil, but they can be transformed with the help of technology into a positive experience that will make a difference," he says.

Cristian Munteanu, Managing Partner of Early Game emphasizes: "Meetgeek provides each of us with a super-smart secretary, who is available 24/7, and who accurately writes the minutes of online discussions. The utility is obvious, the need is intense, and customers will use the service with high-frequency several times a day. Meetgeek technology complements the infrastructure of digital communication services and will become a standard that no one will give up in the future.”
