Undelucram.ro is a business launched in 2011 by Costin Tudor, the platform becoming in the meantime the largest and most complex online community in Romania dedicated to employers, with over 750,000 users. Starting 2019, the company has expanded regionally in Greece, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Bulgaria and Poland.
"We noticed that our users want to know as much as possible about employers (work environment, career opportunities, salaries and benefits) and, at the same time, they want them to get involved, to answer the reviews or questions of the candidates from the interviews. On the other hand, they want to spend little time and in a few online channels, they want to apply for jobs in the same place where they are informed about them. We want to offer candidates a complete service and this is why we place more and more emphasis on our job search service. The start of this repositioning is Romania, but we will take this step in every country where we are present as the other local platforms grow", said Costin Tudor, CEO and founder of Undelucram.
Among the novelties of Undelucram.ro is an entirely new concept on the Romanian market that offers candidates the opportunity to apply directly to the companies they are interested in, even if the companies do not yet have the open positions.
2022: Investments in machine learning, user experience and expansion in six new countries
"An advantage that supports this direction is that we have many data about users (candidates, employees, employers) and the platform's algorithm brings forward information of interest to each part. It is an algorithm based on machine learning and processes the data we have in real-time. This is why in 2022, we will invest a lot in this algorithm and the user experience. Next year, we aim to increase the platforms in all the countries where we are present, regarding the number of users, reviews, listed jobs, job applicants, and companies. We also want to expand into six new countries in the Arab region", adds Costin Tudor.
Undelucram.ro considers that the main differentiator compared to other job platforms is the considerable amount of information created with the help of community members.
"Users can get information, can find reviews from employees and candidates, can find salary ranges and information about extra benefits, they have access to the Cumlucram collaborative community. They also have at their disposal a salary comparator (Salary Meter) through which they can report their salary with other employees in the same position. And employers can have access to informed candidates, therefore more relevant and with a much higher potential retention rate", explains Costin Tudor.
1 million CVs in 2022
Currently, Undelucram has 300,000 CVs and aims to have 1 million CVs in the database next year, thus offering the community the opportunity to apply for jobs or companies listed on the platform.
Most CVs of the platform are for IT&C, BPO & services, banking, retail, industrial production and FMCG.
Undelucram users are generally people between 24-35 years old, white collars and blue collars, users who want to be informed before making a decision. Also, about 11% are student users.
