Bulgarian fulfiller euShipments expands to Romania and aims for a 20% growth

euShipments, one of the most experienced providers and integrators of courier and fulfillment services in Eastern Europe and the leader of the fulfillment market in Bulgaria, expands its presence on the Romanian market, as part of a strategic investment of several million euro, aimed at accelerating its international expansion.

This year, the company estimates an increase of more than 50% in the total number of shipments, to over 1,3 million. In Romania, euShipments targets a growth of over 20% in the volume of parcels delivered to and in Romania, to more than 400,000 parcels. Also, the company aims to double the volume of parcels shipped by online stores outside Romania, with a target of approximately 200,000 shipments this year.

"Romania has been our first international market, and in the last 10 years, we have been servicing online businesses from all over the world, including China. With a solid global experience and knowing, at the same time, the specifics of the Romanian market, we are able to help more Romanian companies to expand and reach more customers in foreign markets", says Svetlozar Dimitrov, CEO of EuShipments. "We offer online stores the most efficient combination of courier and fulfillment services and we have become the preferred delivery solution for Bulgarian online sellers delivering to foreign markets. We want to do the same in Romania: to offer fast, reliable and competitive logistics services for international shipments to Central and Eastern Europe with COD (Cash on Delivery) option, but also for premium eCommerce markets such as Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, etc.”

Currently, euShipments has over 500 customers among online stores in all markets in which it operates and aims to support at least 50 Romanian sellers to deliver internationally in one or more markets this year.

Romanian online stores using euShipments solutions have access, through a single contract and single integration or client panel, to the entire portfolio of services offered by over 30 courier companies, to 10 fulfillment warehouses (of which 2 own euShipments warehouses in Bulgaria and 1 in Hungary) in key locations across Europe and to hundreds of delivery methods.

Online stores can make deliveries using multiple courier companies simultaneously, without negotiating operating and pricing conditions, and without signing individual contracts with suppliers. Thus, online merchants can send parcels both in Romania (delivery in 24 hours) and in 30 European countries in the shortest time possible. With only one contract, the online stores will benefit from:

  • delivery directly from their warehouses or from fulfillment warehouses,
  • reports and inventory status in each fulfillment warehouse,
  • order status,
  • tracking and detailed history of each AWB,
  • information on payments made by cash on delivery.

"Knowing the needs of online business and, in particular, the delivery needs for online orders, we can say that in Romania, online sellers do not have many options for international deliveries and do not have access to logistics service providers specialized only in eCommerce deliveries. Given our experience and the independent delivery network we build to address all online orders, we can support Romania's online business to expand internationally and increase their presence abroad", says Svetlozar Dimitrov.
